Here are a few of the LIM team’s favourite resources for delving into our own prayer lives. Check each issue for books, podcasts, or other recommendations.

Raising Disciples by Natalie Frisk
I recently received a message from the Director of Children’s Ministry at my local church. The email included an invitation to join a book club for parents that would convene around the book, Raising Disciples. What a great idea! This book is fantastic because it helps parents or anyone hoping to become a parent to understand everyday disciple-making with their children.
Katie Pezzutto:
The Rest of God: Restoring Your Soul by Restoring Sabbath by Mark Buchanan
Many of us find ourselves unwittingly disregarding the meaning of true Sabbath rest. Mark leads us to the core meaning of rest and how we can experience it meaningfully. I recommend this book!
Ilana Reimer:
Natasha Crain
Our culture is packed with mixed messages that can confuse young minds. Natasha Crain helps clear the fog with her apologetics tools for discipling children. An author, speaker, and blogger, her work is geared towards parents, but it’s also helpful for anyone wanting to offer intelligent reasoning for Christianity to kids and teens.
Spoiler alert: it’s not just kids who can learn from Natasha’s perspective. Her writings on popular topics are worthwhile, regardless of your age. Check out Natasha’s website to access her blog and find out more about her books.
Mark Stewart:
Amen Worldwide
Most of us know some (or lots of) cringe-worthy Christian music. The stuff you heard while stuck in the back of your parent’s car. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Let me introduce you to Amen Worldwide, a channel dedicated to promoting the best independent and unheard Christian music out there. Whatever genre you prefer, Amen Worldwide hosts a vast showcase of Christ-inspired music, spanning from 2012 onward. Some of my favourite finds from Amen are John Lucas, WYLD, HYLY KXSS, and Allie Paige.
